societies, the same human culture<\/h2>\n\n\n<p><strong>EyeD Pharma and UniD Manufacturing<\/strong> form a complementary tandem based in Li\u00e8ge. EyeD focuses on the research and development of innovative treatments for eye diseases such as glaucoma or dry eye syndrome. UniD Manufacturing operates as a CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization), producing for EyeD\u2014but also for other clients, both small and large.  <br\/><br\/>These two organizations share the same site, the same vision, and around one hundred employees. Innovation is omnipresent, but as research projects are long and sometimes uncertain, management quickly became aware of the importance of a strong and sustainable internal climate. <br\/><br\/><strong>&#8220;Here, projects take time. We must be able to create the conditions for colleagues to want \u2013 and the means \u2013 to stay for a long time.\u201d<\/strong><br\/><em>\u2014 Olivier Vanbrabant, Communications Manager<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-3-font-size\" id=\"an-impulse-from-the-top\"><strong>An impulse from the top<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>It was M\u00e9lanie Mestdagt, the group\u2019s CEO, who spearheaded the process of assessing well-being. Convinced of the importance of values such as kindness or team spirit, she wanted to go beyond intentions : measure to act. <br\/><br\/>After researching several solutions, the company turned to Balencio. It saves us a tremendous amount of time.\u201d<\/strong><br\/><br\/>This expertise has enabled a small internal team\u2014comprising HR, the trusted person in charge of well-being and prevention, and Olivier from the communications team\u2014to manage the project effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-3-font-size\" id=\"measure-but-above-all-act\">Measure, but above all act<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The implementation of Balencio was carried out progressively. After an initial global survey (via the Human Capital Index \u2013 HCI), two additional modules were launched: an \u201cenergy\u201d survey (also used to comply with psychosocial risk assessment requirements), and a targeted survey focusing on workload within a specific department. <br\/><br\/><strong>\u201cWhat is powerful about Balencio is its ability to objectify perceptions. But we need to go further: employees expect concrete actions.\u201d<\/strong><br\/><br\/>In response to this expectation, the steering team developed a structured action plan with a differentiated approach depending on departments.
